It is very important to address the damages as soon as possible, delays will only cause further damage. Ultra is very experienced at dealing with all types of water damage and has the equipment to extract it as well dry-out the structure.

When water damage occurs, obviously the first thing to do is to remove it then remove all damaged material. Further, you need dehumidifiers to remove moisture captured in the building materials. After the building has been dried-out, we will use moisture meters to check the building materials to insure no secondary damages have occurred.

Once the damages have been determined, ULTRA will create a scope of repairs and cost estimate to accurately describe what needs to be done to restore the property.

If water extraction is done in a timely manner there should be no further damages; however if not there may be a chance mold will develop. The development of mold in a structure can be very serious and can create health problems. Mold can produce Stachbotrys Chartarum (SC) contamination which can be dangerous to your health along with along with other potent mycotoxins some of which are identical to compounds produced by SC. Exposure to the mold spores may cause allergic reactions. The most common symptoms are runny nose, eye irritation, cough, congestion and aggravation of asthma.
